About Afro Magazine – Say it loud!<\/h1>

At AFRO Magazine, representation is not just a word; it forms the foundation of our platform. After all, who we are as people is largely shaped by the words and images we consume. This makes it all the more important that these are recognizable and reinforce our sense of self-worth, rather than breaking it down.<\/strong><\/p>

It is high time for an independent perspective on the lifestyle and interests of the Afro-Dutch community in the Netherlands and its countries of origin. Honest and without a hidden agenda.<\/p>

For us, this representation goes much further than waiting for the established Dutch media. After all, no one can tell your story quite like you can.<\/p>

Within our own community, we saw all the knowledge and expertise needed to launch a successful magazine. Specifically for a target group that is still forgotten far too often. So, in 2015, we decided to reshape both media and journalism, this time focusing entirely on the Afro-Dutch community.<\/p>

The result: AFRO Magazine. Making you feel at home, wherever you are.<\/h3>

In our online magazine, we provide you with weekly updates on current affairs, local and international news,<\/a> razor-sharp opinions<\/a>, and in-depth analyses. All from an Afro perspective.<\/p>
