The Central African island country of São Tomé and Príncipe is hosting the second annual Ubuntu Awakening Summit from 7th to 14th August, 2025 at the University of São Tomé & Príncipe in São Tomé. The event is being organize by Umoja Generational Wealth (UGW), the global community for African and African Diaspora entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals. |
King Maponga is a theologian, philosopher and author of various books, a renowned Pan Africanist, Founder of Institute Farmers of Thought (FOT) which contains more than 2,000 books about Africa.
Over the years, Bishop Maponga has brought together thousands of African Diaspora around the world. At the summit, the Bishop will lead the delegates in a journey which starts with spiritual awakening, leading to heritage discovery and landing in ancestral lineage connection.
